Your solution to the drab table dilemma.

At Ingrained Elegance, we craft high-end tables from American hardwood tree stumps to showcase beautiful grain patterns rarely seen. By kiln-drying each piece for up to 14 months to ensure the highest quality, and then finishing with natural Tung oil, we create statement pieces built to last for generations. Our attention to detail ensures your table becomes not just a piece of furniture, but a focal point in your home or office, creating conversation and connection. If you desire a custom-made table, you'll be able to experience the journey as we transform your selection into a customized, conversation piece.

In the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, I sought a way to combine family and artistry in a meaningful way. As a father, I wanted to be home for my family while building something that would last—something both beautiful and functional. What began as a personal project of turning raw tree stumps into furniture became Ingrained Elegance, a brand dedicated to creating exceptional, custom-made tree stump tables that capture the hidden beauty of nature. The swirling grain patterns and unique characteristics of each stump are highlighted in every table, transforming what was once discarded wood into a stunning work of art that brings a natural elegance into your home.

The process is personal. Every table I create is designed with intention, taking you on a journey as you watch your chosen piece transform from a rough stump into a breathtaking focal point. For over 15 years, I've poured my heart into every project, to build something that will become a treasured heirloom. At Ingrained Elegance, my goal is to provide you with a piece of art that transcends furniture—something that becomes a lasting legacy.

Our tables and other furnishings are made of American hardwoods that can endure for centuries. Be assured that you're not contributing to global deforestation by purchasing a low-cost Teak tree root that came across the ocean in a container.

American species include Black Walnut, Wild Cherry, Maples, Oaks, and others. Tables are polished to a very smooth feel (including the splits) to bring out the natural brilliance of the grain. Each piece is tested for flatness with a glass plate.
